Chapter 9: A View to a Death
A Death of One of the Boys
Perspective: Piggy
I think that Ralph plays too much because when we were in the pool he kept flicking water at me, so I told him to stop. Ralph didn't seem to care about Jack's party because when he said, "I don't care, it almost sounded as if he was jealous. So after a while I saw phosphorescence from Jack's party and it sounded like they were having fun. When Jack and I went inside the party it was wild! They were dancing, singing, and partying all night. Jack and other people had stuff on their face and blood on them and they looked like real hunters. Jack and the other hunters were killing the pig and they were being violent with it. They had extra meat but Ralph and I weren't really interested. I think that the party wasn't that good. So we just left the party. We saw Sam n' Eric somewhere playing. But I didn't know where Billy was. When it was raining they remembered that Simon had told them that he saw the beast. So somebody had seen the beast when all of them were at the feast and they yelled out let's get them or something, so I guess they thought it was the beast and it was really Simon. SIMON DIED!! They were stabbing him and killing him to death. But they didn't know it was Simon. They noticed it was him, when he was going into the ocean with a lot of blood in the water. He knew he wasn't going to last on the island and he had told that to Ralph, but he was giving out good ideas and advice and showed us where the beast was before he died. When I looked at the beast it had a corpulent from a distance. I was sad because Simon was really close to me while we were out here and he listened to everything I had to say. But I wasn't mad at Jack and the hunters because they didn't know. But nobody was as sad as I was...
