Chapter 4: Painted Faces and Long Hair
The signal of the ship

I was mad, because we had a signal for being rescued but Ralph was just playing around. He wasn't being serious and the fire went out. Ralph and Jack kept making fun of Piggy because of his belly flops when they were in the pool together but I was the only one who was nice to Piggy. Since piggy's hair never grows, Ralph and jack think that's so weird. Anyways while we were in the pool we all spotted the smoke and somebody had yelled that there was smoke and we all tried to get out the pool because it was smoke coming from a ship that was blatant as it got closer but since it didn't see our signal which was the fire it left. Tough luck for us we could've gotten saved. Piggy and I were the only ones trying to really help unlike the others. A little later Jack killed a pig with a little help from Ralph and he cut it into pieces so everybody can have a little bit of meat but it was clean. Jack was forcing me and Piggy to eat but I wasn't hungry and he kept yelling at me. I have had enough. Because Jack kept making fun of Piggy he had enough of it, so Piggy gave Jack the malevolently look and Jack had such a belligerence toward everybody. Ralph kept saying he was chief a lot, but who cares? When I look into Jack's or Ralph's eyes I see swarthiness in them. But in Piggy I see kindness. I'm impalpable to think right now because of the drama.
